Marketing publicity materials and activity

A new GP health centre will have an important role in the community you serve and therefore you may wish to raise awareness of the services offered through marketing activity, the following gives guidance on this subject. 

It is essential that your marketing activity does not undermine the reputation, brand policy or trade marks of the NHS. Remember: you cannot use the NHS logo on any materials which are not directly related to the provision NHS services. 

Please refer to the Code of Practice for the promotion of NHS-funded services for further information. This code will apply equally to all providers of NHS-commissioned services, whether they are from the independent sector, NHS providers or charities.
